Originally established in 1959, Kollel Avodas Levi was always
considered the crown jewel of our Yeshiva by the Rosh
Hayeshiva, Moreinu v'Rabbeinu Harav Ruderman zt"l. After
Harav Ruderman's petira, the Rosh Hayeshiva, Moreinu
v'Rabbeinu Harav Weinberg zt"l announced that the Kollel
would be named after him.
Alumni of Kollel Avodas Levi are leaders of Klal Yisroel,
serving as Rabbonim, Rebbeim, and lay leaders in
communities across the globe. Chief Rabbis, Dayonim,
Roshei Kollel, Menahalim, and Kiruv professionals across 6
continents spent their formative years in Kollel Avodas Levi.
Bnei Torah Baalei-Batim around the world, who set aside
time daily to learn Torah and play an active role in their
kehillos and cities, started off in Kollel Avodas Levi.
Under the leadership of the Rosh Kollel, Harav Ezra
Neuberger, the Kollel has over 225 yungeleit learning fulltime,
developing into future leaders of Klal Yisroel. There are
chaburos learning the yeshiva mesechta, Yoreh De'ah, Orach
Chaim, and Even HaEzer, among other areas across Shas.
After a full day of yeshiva, nearly every shul in Baltimore has
a night seder anchored by our avreichim. Every year, our
yungeleit go out and contribute greatly to Klal Yisroel, with
a strong sense of achrayus for the tzibbur, which is uniquely
characteristic of Yeshivas Ner Yisroel.
Your investment in supporting Kollel Avodas Levi is an
investment in the future of Klal Yisroel.
